The number of people in New Zealand with Dementia has grown rapidly. Over the last five years Alzheimers Northland has seen an 85% increase in the number of clients, yet our funding levels are not keeping up with this growth. We cannot reduce the level of support we give to our families so we must raise vital funds to be able to continue our level of care.
With your help we can make a real difference for people affected by dementia in our community.
We can change lives by helping to take away the fear and challenges that life with dementia poses and help people to along a positive journey.
Your donation could be spent on one to one visits from our community advisors, weekly respite for carers, or education sessions for professional care providers.
